Vivian I am so happy to hear that your surgey went so well. Welcome home. I am almost two weeks out, and still have a little pain, I also had lap-rny. Just keep your spirits high, keep walking, and drink lots of water. You will do just fine. Melody DeRose

Thanks everyone for your good wishes.I made it to the other side.Thank God and my Dr.I tought I was having open surgery but I ended up having laparoscopy.I came back home saturday.Still sore but getting better everyday.Thanks to All.

Hi Vivian--i too am from Mass (North andover acutally) and I am almost 2 years post op. You will do fabulous . I know the first few weeks are rough so please email me if you need anything. I will be willing to come and just sit with you if you need someone. Or just email me for advice. Good luck and I am sure you'll do fine.
