I have struggled with my weight on and off for years. I really started putting on the pounds about 10 years ago after I had my hystorectomy. About 3 years ago I did lose 40#'s only to have them and a few more find me very rapidly after injurying my tail bone in a "boot camp" type activity. I had already plateau and was getting really impatient at the point.
Once I could no longer work out, the weight found it's way back.
I am so looking forward to having this tool to help me control my appetite. My husband tells me all the time I eat as much as him. Yea I do, and I can't help it.
I just know the Lap Band is going to be the miracle I've been waiting for to help me shed this weight.
I started the journey over 4 weeks ago with preparing for this surgery. Now wtih my date around the corner I can hardly think of anything else.
I am so greatful for this site to help me on this journey. So glad to have someone else to discuss all this subject with.
