First Plane ride since surgery

Jul 09, 2009

So I survived my first plane ride since I had surgery. It was unbelievable that I actually could fit in the seat. It brought tears to my eyes, when I sat down and I could fit, even with the arm rest down. I also didn't need a seat belt extension. I can't remember the last time I didn't need one of those. It has been years. I can't say that the flight was all that comfortable, but it sure was better then the last time I flew. I swear, if they could squeeze more people on board a plane, they would. I went home to visit my family, they now all know I had surgery. It was great being there, and relaxing. It would of been great if Mr. Sun had come out to visit more often. He only came out to tease us. It was mostly cloudy, with lots of fog and some rain added in. Of course I called home today, and Mr. Sun was out in full force, with not a cloud in site. I am beginning to wonder if it is me, that brings the crappy weather.  I was home this time last year and the weather was the same. I got to see a few friends while I was home, and one of them I haven't seen in 4 years, and I got to meet her little boy, who turns 4 this month. I wish I could of stayed longer, but no luck there.
