willy
Hi everyone...
My name is Willy...I am a 44 years old and due to serious health issues I am a stay at home dad, who wants more then anything to be able to see my 4 year old son grow up.
I have been struggling with weight for a few years now, I have tried everything to get it off because my health has been steadily been going downhill.
My highest weight has been 433 pounds and after going to him for two years My doctor finally recommended gastric bybass.
So I am now in the beginning steps...I have seen the surgeon and he told me that I am a very good canidate for this surgery because I was at 407 when I saw him and had maintained that weight since my last family doctors vist 2 months before.
I have had a sleep study done and was told I had signs of sleep apnea and needed to be on the machine (I hated every minute of it) it made me feel trapped and panicked the entire time and I had a harder time breathing with it on then I did off.
I have been to the dietitian two times so far, the first time I went was June 1st and I was at 405 and I returned again June 29th at which time I was at 398.
I finally broke the 400 pound mark!!!
My sister has had this surgery already and I have seen what it has done for her, she is living proof that this really works if you are willing to do what it takes.
I am not sure if I ever really told her or not but I am very proud of her and her accomplishments with her weight loss and I really do appreciate any help and support she gives me.
with her having gone through it already, it shows me that the proof is in the pudding and if you do things to the letter as you are told that things go much smoother and the results are incredible.
