So my story started when i was born I think, not really. I was always a bigger kid as far back as I can remember. All through school I was bigger then all the kids, pretty much all the way through high school. I was 18 and weighed about 285. I moved to a very small town out of school. It was a total culture shock and i hated it so I pretty much ate my way to over 300lbs. Time went by I got pregnant against all odds, but with that of course my weight went up to. At the time of delivery I was 314. Thats where my weight loss story begins.
I have known plenty of people that have had WLS, but I always saw it as the EASY way out. I finally realized after only losing 4lbs in 2 years, that I also needed the help. My consultation at the BAY BARIATRICS CENTER was in early April 2007. I was planning on surgery for the end of June unfortunately it didn't happen. Finally though I was scheduled for Oct, 2nd. Now I'm a little over a week out and doing great. I had gotten down to 303lbs before my surgery. When I came home my sons father went and bought me a new scale (never owned one before). I was back up to 308lb, but now I'm already down to 297lbs and cant be more THRILLED !!! And so now starts a new chapter of my life and I can't wait
