I check in tomorrow at 5:30 am, surgery is scheduled for 7:30 am.

Nope, I really don't feel nervous or have "cold feet" syndrome at this point.
Really just excited and ready to get it done and start getting on with getting it off. (Get yer mind out of the gutter....you know who I am talking to!!)

5:30?? That is SOOO painfully early. I don't do mornings well. I guess on the plus side the anesthesiologist will have it easy since I will be out of it already at that time of the morning.

Anyway, if you are so inclined, say a prayer, cross your fingers, light a candle and send some smelly stuff to the Goddess/God of your choice. I'll take any and all help and good thoughts I can get.

Just got word that my insurance came back approved.
I am a go for November 9th.

Scoot yer shrinking asses over and make room for me on that loser bench!!

This hasn't got much to do with the upcoming surgery, but I thought I would share some of my interests by listing some web sites. I am webmaster for the Shire Reaves and the Lucky Club Tattoo shop ones.

We have been with a guild that does site safety for a local Renaissance faire for about 9 years. The site for our guild is http://shirereaves.com

I also have a separate blog documenting my WLS journey. I haven't made it public yet, I plan to after I have the surgery. For those interested, I will post it here once that happens.

I have a tentative date of November 9, 2007 for surgery. I have a couple more hurdles to get over before it can happen.

1) The insurance called yesterday and wants me to have a Cardio consultation before they will approve. (Seems I had an irregular heart beat or something when I did the sleep study to check for Apnea.)

2) My B1 vitamin level was apparently pretty low, so I have been cramming B Complex Vitamins like crazy the last few weeks. I will need to have it tested again in a week or two, and it needs to be up to acceptable levels before I can have the surgery.

If those two things check out, I am good to go for the 9th.
