10 Years!

So funny - I missed my 10 year anniversary! LOL. How could I pass that one by?
All's well - still have that 10 pounds I regained hanging over my head and still
having *issues* with eating in general. Thing is, I just looked at my before photo
here and had to wonder to myself "What am I worrying about????"
I still need to do a lot of *head* work. I am still 100 pounds down - feeling good
in general.
I wish all of you continued success in your journies!

So here I am ... 9 years post op. I have said it before and I'll say it again - gastric bypass surgery was the best thing I've ever done for myself. It is life changing. Mind you, I've gained back 10 pounds in those 9 years but had I not had the bypass who knows where I would be? So I'm happy with where I am now.

I just thought I'd come back and post from time to time. I'm 9 years post op and figured I'd come back to give and get some support.
I am 54 year old married woman in Staten Island. I work part time in Manhattan.
It's a daily struggle for some of us. It's easier for some of us than others. I think having this place to read and vent can help a lot though!
