2012 The start of my new life!

Feb 07, 2012

Actually, it started on Dec. 20 when I had rny. I'm a true whimp when it comes to the doctor, needles, well evrything! This was the first time that I felt peace in the hospital, during surgery. My Mom helped me the entire time and she was a blessing! Now I am seven weeks post op and down about 37 pounds, below 200 for the first time in 17 years and being called skinny minnie at work by colleagues. My students say I look taller! Eventually they will process it. I can feel my attitude changing, my self esteem growing, and I'm ready to keep making the changes. One thing I would recommend to everyone is a fantastic counselor/psychologist. Mine has helped me deal with changes, how to deal with other people, and how to stay positive about everything ( good and bad). It is the perfect tool to keep the changes and the weight loss flowing!
I've never blogged before, so I'll give you a little info about me. I am a West Virginia University grad and love Mountaineer Football and basketball! Big 12 better watch out! I spend my summer at the beach in North Carolina ( actually looking forward to bathing suit shopping this year!) and I am the proud Aunt to three nephews and my niece, who is in her sophomore year at West Virginia to be joined by my oldest nephew as he begins his freshman year in the fall! Overall,I see a bright future for myself full of health, wealth, and love!
