I am down another 2lbs, yay!  Everything is going fine.

Well, today would've been Elvis's 74th birthday.  Well after 1 week of not losing any weight....I stepped on the scale today and I lost 2lbs.  yay me.  So far all food has agree'd with me.

Just wanted to say Happy New Year!

I had my 2 week appointment today and everything is going good.  Next appointment is Jan. 31st.  I start the pureed stage mashed potato's here I come! yay something different.

Oh.... the smell of delicious food and all I get is a jello cup and water.  Jello....jello....jello so sick of jello I can't wait til next weds when the pureed stage starts, yay!

Every thing went great!  No PAIN thanks to the ON-Q pump, took that off today and still no pain except GAS.  My tummy rumbles ever time I eat a S/F popsicle, but really I think it's GAS moving at that time haha.  As for my ordeal in the hospital....well when my sister and I arrived at 7:45AM I was brought to a room changed into a gown, a nurse came in for my vitals and weighed me. Then a long while later another nurse come in (9am) asked me all kinds of questions and put the IV in, then told me my surgery wouldn't be until 1pm... then she left and my sister came back in.  I told her she could go home and sleep and come back after the surgery, plus she had to appointment that day.  So she left about 9:30am.  I did not see a nurse or anyone til 12:50pm when they came to get me ready for my pre-op, she took me up there dropped me off and a few people came and talked to me, then the dr and I told him can we get this done with!  He said all we were waiting on was the room.  Then at 2:20pm I was rolled into the OR I told the nurse it was colder in here then outside!  Then I woke up kind in coherent, but I did hear my sister say my name and then I was in a room and she talked to me and my husband talked to me, but don't remember what was said.  They left and everyone came back the next day and couldn't believe I was sitting, walking, talking eating my s/f popsicle. s/f jello/ chips of ice and water!  All in All it was good,except  between the time I arrived and 12:50pm that was awful atleast I had cable tv to watch hahaha.

I'm on my way....Leaving in a few minutes, I'll post this weekend when I get home. ~Jackie

WOW.... I am down 10lbs.  Surgery is in 2 days, YAY! Lets get this done and over!

Believe it or not "I'm not starving" anymore! I still feel hungry, but not miserable cause I want to eat...eat...eat.  I guess my stomach is finally used to liquids only! LOL

Ok it is Monday, December 8th, and I have 9 days of the liquid diet left.  I wish it was the 17th already!  Everyday I think to myself "am I gonna make it"? I had a long talk with my sister yesterday about how she struggled thru her liquid diet stage and that she got thru it and had her RNY 07/17/07, and iif she can do it...then so can I.  I told her I may not make it to the day of surgery, she said "you will one day at a time".

God Help Me!
