Ok..So I haven't updated in 2 months but my life has been pretty busy.  I am down 55 pounds since January 12, and I just got my 2nd fill last weekend.  This one is a huge adjustment.  I am dealing with the fact that 1 or 2 oz of chicken fill me up, and I am satisfied for 4-5 hours.  I am addicted to watermelon, it goes down easy and fills me up.  I walked in my first 5K two weeks ago and wasn't the last person to finish.  I am 75 pounds from my goal weight and actually think that it is possible to reach it for the first time in many years.  I can feel my confidence coming back, and I am wanting to LIVE LIFE again.

woohoo!!!  I got my first fill today!  When I went at the end of Feb, I still had restriction from the surgery and was losing weight still...Fastforward a few weeks and I was hungry as heck, and could eat pretty much anything.  The best news??? I AM DOWN 32 POUNDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   This was the best decision I have ever made! 
I was nervous about the fill, but surprisingly it didn't hurt!  And watching it under the flouro was cool as heck!  Great thanks to Darlene and Fill Centers USA!!!!

Wow.  I can't believe I actually went through with it.  I was "banded" on January 12 by Dr. Mario Almanza in TJ Mexico.  Things have been pretty smooth.  I did have some wound drainage in my port incision site, however after a week, it stopped, and my incisions are healing beautifully now.  Heck, they are pretty much healed, and the scaring is not going to be as bad as I thought.  To date, I have lost 21 pounds!!  Clothes are starting to fit better, and I am finding I am having more energy.  I am not walking as much as I would like as of yet, but that will change.  I made my first fill appointment for the end of Feb. today and I am excited!  I still can't believe that I have a lapband!!!!  I have a goal to lose 4 more pounds by my one month "bandivarsary".  I can do this!!!!
