The message you just posted to the board was some of the best advice I heard in a long time. Thank you, God bless. RNY 9/02 was 213 now 135.

Dee, sounds like you are doing wonderfully! It must be so nice to be able to buy some smaller sizes. Don't push yourself too hard when you go back to work, you will get tired quickly and you will really have to work at making sure you are planning your meals and bringing good things with you to eat and drink. But as the months go by, you will find that it gets easier and easier, and your strength will return. Don't let your initial days of tiredness and weight loss that might not be going as fast as you'd hoped get you down. I am nine months out and as I look back I cannot believe that I have lost 107 lbs. and am wearing size 10/12. I am sure you will have the same success, if not better, and days that look dark will eventually blossom into days where you know for certain you have been blessed to have had this surgery! Good luck to you.

Dee, thank you so much for posting your reassuring and wise words to me on the board. You're absolutely right; just because I have no health problems *now* doesn't mean I won't in the very near future. I've just been lucky up until this point! I am going to proceed with the surgery, so please do say a prayer for me. Thanks so much, Dee! Your sentiments meant a lot to me. *hugs*
