Ranjan Sudan

"Dr. Sudan is very warm, friendly and compassionate. His nurse, Charity, is very competent, and a very busy person. Dr. Sudan is very stringent in certain aspects of what he expects of patients. First of all, if you are a smoker, you have to quit - and quit for GOOD. He requires that you stop smoking for a minimum of 6 months prior to surgery. His philosophy is that you are doing the surgery to better your health, and if you smoke - you are not too interested in maintaining your health. Dr. Sudan has a public pre-surgery informational meeting each month at Creighton University; he also has a monthly post-surgery support group once a month. It is required that you attend an educational seminar prior to being able to schedule your first consultation with him. It can take a month or better to be able to attend one of these seminars as you have to schedule it with Charity. Once you have attended that, then you can make an appointment to consult with him. Creighton / Dr. Sudan also offers a montly support group meeting that is very helpful for both pre and post op patients, not to mention that you make some pretty awesome friends with other patients in the process."
