Wow..where do I start?? Well my name is Marlo Moore-Ray. I live in Augusta GA with my husband and two kids: Jared and Malori. My life is pretty much DIVALICIOUS!! I love my family and friends. Most people would definately consider me the "life" of the party, but I would say that I'm just CRAZYSEXYCOOL!! (lol) I've always been EXTREMELY CONFIDENT, and WLS was the furthest thing on my mind. After years of weight loss and weight gain, I one day got on the scale and it read 339..OMG I was in total disbelief!! I knew that something had to be done so I tried amlost everything under the sun to lose weight for good. Nothing seemed to last, so I fell into a comfort zone, and ended up gaining more weight.Highest Weight: 344. A year ago I pondered over having surgery (Lap-Band) and I was declined twice (State of GA insurance). Then in June of this year, my husband was blessed with a new job and new insurance(YEAH). I immediately turned in paperwork at the end of July and fast forward through an EGD, psch eval, nutrition eval, forums, seminars and support group mtgs, I was approved for my surgery!! Instead of Lap-Band I decided to have RNY gastric bypass. Surgery date: October 12,2009
