Question:
Has anyone had good luck with Cigna PPO out of Western PA?

I have Cingna PPO insurance out of the Western Pennsylvania area. I am getting a little nervous. I have heard that Cigna isn't to good with approving this type of surgery. I don't know about Cigna PPO of Western PA, but I have Cigna HMO of Florida and I found them to be delightful! I met their requirements and provided all documentation, which I know doesn't always mean approval! I had my approval in 6 days. But, if the tale of cigna is true, they'll deny on first try and approve on appeal.

I have CIGNA PPO in New Jersey and have had no problems. My surgery was approved on the 1st request. Good luck.

I don't have Cigna and unfortunately cannot answer your question, but I also live in Western PA and just wanted to wish you "Good luck" and I hope everything works out for you!
