Question:
Tribasic calcium phosphate?

I found a chewable Posture-D calcium supplement. Contains 600mg calcium as tribasic calcium phosphate and 125 IU Vitamin D. Was wondering what anyone has heard about its absorption. It tastes better than the Twinlab Citrate waffers but worse than tums.    — Virginia N. (posted on May 20, 2002)

I did a search on Yahoo for this and found this pdf file. Maybe it will help. I did notice it said that Tribasic Calcium Phosphate was almost insoluble in water...so if your a RNY, that may not be good news. Anyhoo, here's the URL for what I found. http://bob.nap.edu/html/fcc/calphost.pdf
