Question:
Does anyone have before and after pictures of a thigh lift?

I am interested in having a thigh lift (badly needed) and would like to see some before and after pictures if anyone has any. The surgeon that my PCP sent me to has no pictures of his work. Yes, he is certified, but I am still going to ask my doctor to refer for a second opinion; I'm just not comfortable with a doctor that can't even show you his work. Thank you!    — Julie B. As a second part to this question, does any one know of a contractually acceptable reason for the insurance company to pay for removal of redundant skin from the thighs and legs? Any special wording that would be useful in appealing denials?

I personally would be very supecious of any surgeon who would have at least some pictures like that. I had a board certified surgeon (not WLS) and he would'nt let me see any pictures. "Supposely to protect patients privacy". Bull. They would'nt show faces anyway. He has pictures of proceedures done the "opossite dirrection" on the internet. Well I now know why he did'nt have any pictures. He butchered me and no doubt did'nt do well on others ether. So from now on, IF I DON'T see pictures, they are not touching me. "However, thankfully most people WILL NEVER have the bad experiences I had". But if this surgeon will not provide pictures, then I hope he will provide you with some names of satified patients that will let you contact them. Don't ever trust the word of any surgeon that he/she does a good job. Let them prove it before hand. Don't end up like I did. I would'nt wish it on anyone.

Sorry. I re read and still had a typo. It should read that I would mis trust any surgeon who WOULD NOT provide pictures of his work. (What doe he have to hide)?
