Questions to ask surgeon about Lap Band surgery

Hi! I'm a one month post-op bandster and doing great! Down thirty pounds so far. I would ask about the placement of the port (so you will know just where it will be), if your surgeon stitches around the band to anchor it (mine did), what diet you will have to follow after (14 day liquid diet for me), and if your insurance covers the fills. Get yourself an informational booket on the band from your doctor and read it carefully. I love my band and am sooo happy that I chose it for my weight loss tool. E-mail me if you have any questions.
