Question:
Help! The other day I did something bad... Wednesday of last week, I ate a few peanut

I thought I had chewed them up pretty good and they stayed down. Friday night I started feeling like a gassy pain... On saturday it progressed to a " coming and going crampy twinge, under my left ribcage, I'm assuming in my pouch. I've tried so far, warm water, lemon and meat tenderizer to get the pain to go away, thinking it's the peanuts lodged in my pouch. I can still eat and drink, although when I drink something cold, it's like a dull ache.:( I left a message for my surgeon to call me back... I'm so petrified that I might have to go in and have it removed:( Any suggestions? Has this or something similar happened to anyone? Thanks Faith    — Faith B. (posted on January 27, 2003)

when you speak to your physician ask him to check your gall bladder if you still have it... you may have stones... not to scare you but you need to have this checked - it's not normal for you to feel pain such as you've stated.
