Question:
PRE-EXISTING CONDITION???

I currently have United Health Care HMO. WLS is a direct exclusion. I will have Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota PPO in 6 weeks with a second job I just got. WLS must be medically necessary. Will the pre-existing condition affect me??    — Shannon D. (posted on May 17, 2003)

I think that as long as there isn't a break longer than 30 (or it may be 60) days, the pre-existing clause won't apply to you. Talk to your new insurance carrier.
