Post Op, Pain When Eating or Drinking

hi..I been having some pain in my tummy everytime I eat or drink something, I know that my tummy is right below my left breast now and Im having pain there ALOT past week or so..just feels like sharp stabs when i eat or drink..anyone have this?    — christine S. (posted on June 15, 2003)

i felt that sharp pain too it got better in time, give it time! i do not feel it now at all i am almost 3 months post op. hang in there it is just healing inside!

Please let me know what the outcome is, how long it takes for the pain to completely subside. I am pre-op and I'ms absorbing all of this. Maybe you should call your surgeon if the pain continues when you eat or drink. You don don't want to be malnourished. God Bless and God keep. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

I have that pain too. Any time I eat or drink anything in any amount, I get a sharp, stabbing pain under my left breast. I sure hope it goes away soon because it hurts and makes me not want to eat or drink anything!

When I had this it was caused from waiting too long between meals. Who would have thought that would ever be a problem. Good luck!
