Question:
I have never had an ulcer or a hernia....

I had a hernia last year and had it repaired during the summer. I had a lot of upset stomaches, diarrhea, pain in my abdomen when I coughed or bent over, pain when I would sleep on my stomach and just an all over yucky feeling. Having my hernia repaired was the best thing I ever did! The pain was instantly gone!!

I had 9 hernias repaired in February. I had constant burning pain. At first, it felt almost like a muscle pulling - it would grab when I'd reach for something but eventually, I was in almost constant pain. I did have some problems with nausea too.

There are many different types of hernia's so it depends on which area on what the symptoms would be.
