Hi Jennifer, The surgeon I used, Dr. Samuels in Ft. Lauderdale I believe did the open RNY on an almost 16 year old. My daughter was 13 1/2 when she had her first WLS. 14 1/2 when we convinced the surgeon she needed a full RNY. She is doing GREAT.
