My brother in law is interested in having WLS and lives in Moreno Valley, California.

I live in Long Beach, CA but I took a drive down to San Diego for my
surgery. Dr. Wittgrove at Alvarado Hospital in San Diego is the surgeon
who did Carnie Wilson's surgery. He's world-renowned. He and his partner
developed the laparscopic version of the Gastric Bypass and have been doing
it for a very long time. I had absolutely no complications, very, very
little pain and enjoyed my hospital stay. Other doctors speak very highly
of Dr. Wittgrove. I highly recommend catching one of their seminars. The
number for Alvarado is 800-342-3944. Good luck. I'm down 78 lbs. in 3
months!

I live in the San Fernando Valley in So Cal and had my surgery in Orange
County, CA. Coastal Center for Obesity is a fabulous surgical group with
both pre-op and aftercare programs that I can't say enough about. Their

I had surgery about 3 1/2 months ago with Dr. Sanderfer. He is absolutely
great. He is located in Corona. He has support group meetings the first
Tuesday of every month at Parkview Hospital. He now has his own 9 bed wing
at Parkview. He has hand picked his nurses and everything. I cannot say
enough about him. If he needs a primary care physician that is supportive
of WLS, Dr. Sharon Laughlin in Riverside is an absolute angel. Her sister
had the surgery a couple of years ago with Dr. Sanderfer also, so she is
very supportive and very knowledgeable about the surgery. E-mail me if you

Dr. Jamshid Nazarian. He is in beverly hills. He is coordinated by
Liv-Lite. It isn't difficult to get into see him. Also, the best part is,
he has over 11 years of experience and has conducted over 2500 surgeries
without any fatalities. He does great work. You can find his information on

dr suh at crown bariatrics in cornona and wildomar califonria is who did my
surgery and most of the people in my support group. excellent doctor i am
thrilled to been able to have him as my surgeon!!!

Well I see you have gotten alot of names! However, I had my surgery 8/4/03
and my Doctors was Stephen McColgan with Bellflower Medical Center. I have
had no problems what so ever and they are the nicest staff and are very

phone number is (562)925-8892 Let me tell you this, Bellflower medical
hospital is not a member of my insurance (Blue Shield) however, they made
some agreement with my insurance and I had no out of pocket expence what so
ever other then my $300.00 deductible. I hope this will be helpful and I
