Weakness can be a neuro deficit caused by something more serious. I would call my doc ASAP or go to the ER to make sure everything is OK. Better safe than sorry. Good Luck!

YES! It'll get better give it another month... Your body is getting use to living on very little calories compared to before... You will get your energy back and then some.....

Oh my! You're the FIRST I've seen that has posted this! About 3 weeks out I started with a SEVERE back ache and often times it felt as if my shoulders/arms were to heavy for my back and neck to hold onto! I couldn't hardly stand it! After several weeks it went away. Good luck to you!

How much protein are you getting in daily? My surgery date was the 8th and I have no real complaints. I am getting in 85+ ounces fluid and 100+ gm protein daily and I believe that is why I am doing so well. I am making use of the protein shakes to get in the protein requirements and find that I feel great. Sandra

I am 10 days post-op and had the same experience. Very low energy, especially when I was taking a shower. I told my surgeon about it and he asked me if my urine was dark (it was) and if I was getting enough liquids (I thought I was)Sure enough! That was the problem. I now sip my water like clockwork and have done a complete 360 in the last two days.
