Question:
My Dr. told me I could remove the steri strips and to use....

nail polish remover to remove the extra adhesive. I tried the nail polish remover and it still is sticky! Anyone have advice on what else I can use?    — JENN *. (posted on August 28, 2001)

You need to make sure the nail polish remover has acetone in it. That's really what plays the biggest part in removing the "goo". Believe it or not, a lot of removers are acetone-free. Take a look.

I used acetone after my echo to get all the stickie stuff off and it left my chest very sore. It works but be careful.

Use some baby oil on the sticky areas. Leave it on overnight. In the morning gently rub sticky areas. Should work off very easily.
