Question:
Well I just called my orginal surgeon who did the original RNY--DR Wongsa

from Houston, Tx and was told he was retiring...So now what do I do? Is there any other surgeon from Houston to Galveston who would do revision?????    — tylerswife (posted on April 23, 2007)

Rebecca, I've talked to a couple of people who have used Dr. Naaman for their revision - I think he's at Baylor... sorry, not a lot of info! But, it's really important to make sure you seek a surgeon who is experienced with revisions - you may need to travel to get an expert - but it's TOTALLY worth it! Blessings, dina

Hi! I'm from Houston too and was considering using Dr. Wongsa. I found his diet rescriction a little harsh for me and I ended up choosing Dr. Adam Naaman. He is off of the beltway and IH10. He does do revisions and I think you would really like him. His number is on this web site. He does require you to attend his seminar, but overall he is very personable, and I would highly recommend him. Hope this helps. Tania_B.

Dr. Carlos Ferrari did my revision in 2000. He was wonderful! He was with NeWeigh but I'm not sure if he is still with them but if not you should still be able to find him. I don't have personal experience with Dr. Naaman (sp?) but he did the surgery on a friend of mine a couple of months ago and she is doing fine. It was her first though, not a revision. Good luck!
