Question:
Revision after twins and coverage by Ohio Medicaid?

I had twins in August 2005. I had wls on December 1, 2003. I only gained 20lbs with the babies. I ended up losing that at my six week checkup. Plus sixteen more lbs. I am not at 320lbs. I am gaining weight and it is driving me nuts. I want to see about a revision. My doctors says I need one. The only thing is, will Medicaid cover it? He said I should have lost more than I have. Since January of 2005, I have went from 272lbs to 320lbs. I don't know what to do. CAN SOMEONE HELP? THANKS!    — brokenangel (posted on November 29, 2006)

Hey! I don't have a clue about Medicaid in Ohio as I live in SC. I just wanted to tell you to go back to the basics. Protein, low fat, low carbs and no sugar. Follow the rules of the pouch, and exercise, too. I also wanted to tell you that I went to your page and i saw your twins. CONGRATULATIONS! I know you're very proud of them. Good luck and God bless you and your family.

9 Times out of 10 if you can prove MEDICAL NECESSITY then medicaid will cover it. See if you can get yr PCP to prove to medicaid that it is medically necessary and submit it to medicaid...good luck!
