Question:
i need a verry doctor on my area if you know one let me know?

Well i'm not from Mass. But I can tell you I had to wait for almost 2 months to get in with my surgeon, If you have found a good surgeon,that you want to do your surgery then dont compromise your #1 surgeon just because you can get in sooner with another. there is a reason the one you want is booked. everyone wants him for a reason. you've got to be patient---- Good luck

Jessica, I am from New Bedford, MA, right next door to you practically, and I used Dr. Streeter down in Wareham. I do want to forewarn you though, this is not a easy process. I know how desperate you feel to lose your extra weight, I remember when I was only 225 and feeling like I would give anything to lose the weight... then I hit 300 and I would have given anything to be 225 again. So dont take this surgery lightly. There are many complications that can be associated with it, and you can never eat the same again. If you gained your weight associated with depression, overeating, then you wont be able to turn to food when you are depressed any more. Maybe check for a really good councilor to help you with your depression, spring is coming and the weather will be great for walking. Put the baby in a carriage and get out there! You can do it! I can tell you personally if I was only 225 when I considered this surgery, I would try every other alternative first. I am now 195, and I still feel that way. You didn't say who the surgeon was that you were waiting to see. Dr. Dieter Pohl in (offices in Johnston and Providence) has an excellent reputation.

Hello, I had Dr. Randall from Medford, MA. He has an acredidation (one of the best programs out there) He has a long wait to get to the fist apt, but I will tell you waiting for him with be the best thing you can do. Alot of programs out there have support groups, but you still have to pay to go to them, and you dont with Dr. Randall. I cant tell you how great he is. If you look him up his full name is Dr. Sheldon Randall. His record is amazing. Good luck with everything. Hope to see you at the monthly meetings with Dr. Randall and Gang (everyone is great).
