They have liquid B-Complex at Walmart. Maybe you can try it in the liquid form.

I do the sublingual.. Under the tongue and it tastes good too. I did give myself a shot every month but I kept forgetting so I went back to the pill. Good luck

Definitely try the sublingual. You can get them at WalMart, Target, most pharmacies, etc.

Sublingual is the best. You can get it at www.wonderlabs.com I leave mine sitting on my desk and I take at least 2 a day; when I am stressed I will take a third one. Usually 8 to 12 hours apart. Slight cherry flavor and it absolutely works! ALso had Biotin and Folic Acid in it A note about the sublingual.....Methylcobalamin is the form of B-12 active in the central nervous system. The liver may not convert cyanocobalamin, the common supplement form of B-12, into adequate amounts of methylcobalamin the body may need. I copied that right off the bottle here! I did alot of research on B-12 and like nitro tabs, it is quickest and mostest (is that a word? ~grin~) transported to the blood stream. Good luck.

Please be aware that the shelf life of any liquid supplement is much les than the oral form of any product. I have given myself B12 shots now for 8 years - they don't hurt at all and are easily administered in the privacy of your home.Insurance also covers the costs.

My doctor ordered me B12 injections that I give myself every two weeks. I have been doing this since sugery and I am almost two years out. It really helps with the energy. It is a really tiny needle like the diabetics use. Doesn't hurt at all. I just do it in my thigh or stomach where there is the most fatty tissue. You might ask your doctor about this. The liquid B-12 made me nausiated. Good luck!

Try Vitamist at wwwVitaaMist.com They have spray vitamins that are absorbed into the mucous membranes of the mouth and are absorbed better than any other method, including sublingual liquids and intramuscular injections (about 9 times better than pills). They have several different choices from a multiple vitamin spray, vitamin B-12, B-vitamin combinations (D-Stress), Calcium with Magnesium (Osteo-CalMag), etc. I get nauseous using pills, and this is the only thing I've found that I can take. Plus it's nice to not have to swallow a bunch of pills. I'm on their E-Z ship program (I get a month's supply of a woman's multiple, Osteo-CalMag, and B-12 500mcg) which comes automatically every month. Since I order 3, I get a promotional 4th one free every month and free shipping and handling. Also if you get at least 3, you get a discount (I end up getting 4 tubes for the price of 2). You might give them a try for the B vitamins and see what you think. Patricia Kim Marshall KimM

I was told from the beginning that my B-12 would have to be sublingual, and that I needed X strength. I got mine at the Vitamin Shoppe, and they were inexpensive and taste great!

Liquid sub-lingual is easy, and tastes pretty good.....I tried crushing pills at first and that was horrible......I buy my liquid at Walgreens and Wal-Mart.

Bariatric Advantage sells chewable vitamins and also has specific viatamins for each type of weight loss surgery. They are also really reasonble price-wise. I take them and like them. They also come in different flavors.

I crushed mine and mixed it with my protein drink, then I found the liquid form which was much easier..plus it puts something in your stomach so it doesnt upset ..

I've used a cherry flavored sublingual liquid B-12 and B-complex combo from the start. It has never upset my stomach. Target, CVS and Walgreens all carry it; different brands of course. Watch CVS and Walgreens for their sales if you have these stores in your area. The last I purchased was 2-for-1 pricing! Just like with our food, we have to try and try again sometimes to find what works for us. Hang in there and don't throw out your pills just yet. Later on after you've healed a bit more you will be able to swallow them. I was the same way about my gigantic calcium tabs at first. Now I just chomp 'em up like a real woman and down 'em with a swig of crystal lite. :o)
