Question:
Does anyone have Keystone HPE, and know if they require 6 months of Doc Sup Diet?

I've called them and asked and all that they said was that, they just needed a referral and the Pre-Cert for the surgery to be approved. But how do I find out what the Pre-Cert Dept requires?    — bhappy1415 (posted on March 7, 2006)

I HAVE KHPE AND I DON'T REMEMBER HAVING TO PROVIDE 6 MOS. OF DOC SUP DIET I DO REMEBER THAT MY PRIMARY CARE PHYSICIAN HAD TO WRITE A LETTER ABOUT ALL THE DIET OR EXERCISE PLANS I TRIED IN THE PAST. WITH ALL MY TEST RESULTS AND MY LETTER I WAS APPROVED FOR MY SURGERY WITH MY 1ST LETTER.
