Question:
any one have pain in right side of stomach and pain when you drink

I ended up in the Er this morning I coulnt take the pain in my right side of the stomach . I had a fever of 100 and the pain also was in my right side of the back. If I drink a sip of water as soon as it get to the right side I double over in pain. I had a ultra sound done and an ekg. They did not find anything wrong. Labs came back with white count up to 1400. So they are treating me with Biaxin and Omeprazole and Amoxicillin. I am worried that something is wrong with the pouch. Also checked my liver with a blood test. Didnt find anything wrong. Sent blood work out which wont be back until next week. HAS ANY ONE HAD THIS PROBLEM? I AM IN ALOT OF PAIN!    — paige (posted on April 10, 2004)

Susan, have you had a mesh hernia repair? I had one the last of January and have had a lot of pain in my right side. I had an x ray last week and it clearly showed the mesh but also showed a large amount of gas "trapped" there. I think this is what is causing the pain. If I rest and wake up in the morning, the pain is gone for a while. I think I am over doing it. Has anyone else had pain with mesh? Thanks!
