Question:
Anyone with lapband surgery 3 or more years

I am considering lapband surgery. I would like to know if anyone has had complications. The surgery could be in late march, and I am real scared! I do not know of long term complications.    — konstance (posted on February 4, 2007)

There is a lap band forum on this sight. You will be able to get a lot of good answers there. I have had my band for 18 months. I lost all of my weight within a year. Close to 100 lbs. I have had no problems what so ever. I consider it a very safe and easy surgery. I had no pain or soreness at all after surgery. I have maintained my present weight for 6 months now. I am so happy I had the band put in. Laura
