Question:
Self pay in Florida.. Help
Does anyone have any pricing info in Central Florida ( or east/west coast) for self-pay? Thanks again.. It so helps to know there are others out there. — juschi (posted on November 4, 2007)

Hi,
I have not had surg myself. But my friend used Dr.Renkie [? on spelling]
who is out of Palms of Pasadena Hospital, in ST.Petersburg, Fl. Anyways one
of the young ladies that was having surg on the sameday was self-pay. I was
under the impression it was about $16,000. I did not see a bill, but that
was from the conversation that was going on in the waiting room. You can
call the Dr.s and ask the self pay price at this time. I know Dr. Renkie
has been very wonderful to all the people I have seen him with. I have
Staywell ins. so I have to use another Dr. or I would go to Dr. Renkie
myself.
Check the hospitals in your area first. Best of luck in finding someone

Hi Jutta, I asked straight out (even though I had insurance that was
covering it at the time) MY surgeon said it costs $34,000.00 he would take
1/2 down ($17,000.00) and let the rest be finanaced. I had Dr. Dean Roye in
Providence , Rhode Island. Had I not had insurance at the time I probably
would have taken a second mortgage out on my house to pay for it.

Hello I live in Maryville Tennessee and I had rny and the total cost was

Bradenton Surgical Group in Bradenton, FL has a special right now for
$13,500. I used this group for my surgery and I highly recommend them. I
have insurance so I don't have much infomration about their self-pay, but I

I live in Orlando, I am going through Dr. Jawad in Ocala (really good
surgeon...he's rated like #3 in the country). His self-pay is around
$25,000 and it's listed on his website. His site is really informative.
