Question:
Do Ga Medicad pay for wls

I tried looking it up on the GA medicaid website it had things on there for gastric bypass but I didnt read through the whole thing but I seen someone post on Yahoo answers that they do because they got it done in Atlanta. Hope this helps you can always call and ask them. I have seen plenty states that do

If you ask your surgeon or the finanicial office at the hospital where you want to have your WLS they could give you an accurate answer. As with all insurances there are probably specific guidelines Medicaid goes by. Good Luck. Nanajane

I HAVE MEDICARE AND MEDICAIDE AND THEY ARE PAYING FOR MY SURGERY IN GA.

I am on WellCare in GA and they are giving me a fit about paying for mine and I have ALOT of co-morbs! Really too long to post here all the problems they're giving me. Too the point that I'm trying to get the surgery by paying cash! (crossing fingers and toes) GOOD LUCK!!
