Question:
Aftermy last fill which was my 4th fill, I now no longer seem to have any restriction

Is is possible for the nurse, I didn't see the doctor, to have taken fluid out instead of putting it in? It's only been a week and there seems to not be anything I can't eat and there is no pain whatsoever even if I take too big a bite.    — melbasue (posted on April 24, 2009)

Any thing is possible and yes it is possible to take fluid out. But the nurses are trained in how to fill the port. Did you watch her put the saline in? Did they do a barium after? Is the band malfunctioning? Check with you doctor, or center you went to for refill to make sure all is OK. Good Luck. Carolyn
