Question:
Pain on right side under the arm near breast

This started yesterday morning.. I woke up to having pain on my right side near the right breast.. Actually its between the underarm and right side of right breast.. Has anyone else who's post op had this happen to them? I'm 8 months post op. 283/149    — mzb2u (posted on February 28, 2006)

Feel like someone trying to sew your front to your back with a very long needle?? Gallbladder!! Actually pain equal to early labor pains...simple ultrasound will show the goings on in the gallbladder and to make diagnosis. Mine felt like I was bruised in that area afterwards too.

Yes, I have had this pain before, and it was a pulimary embolism. I was lucky, I managed to live through it. They were going to send me home, but my mother , who is literally dieing of cancer, told them "Listen, I am dieing, and if you don't check where the pain is coming from, and whether she has a clot, then I will come back and take you all with me!". Now she was crying when she told them this because she was so scared. But the doc sai I would have died that night. Nothing to fool around with, Please get checked.
