Question:
BCBS of LA may cover WLS?

Has anyone heard that BCBS of LA will make a decision wether they will begin to cover WLS? I was given information that they will decide somtime in JULY 2002 if they will reverse their exclusion to denie WLS. Let me know if you've heard the same.    — LORI STINSON (posted on June 1, 2002)

Hey Lori, We've talked before. But please let me know what you find out. I have one more test to do before Dr. Martins office does my medical necessity letter. If the information you heard was correct........wow what great news that would be!
