Hi... I had surgery in St. Louis, MO at DePaul Hospital. I am self pay as well and had to pay up front 2 weeks before the surgery. Here is the break down. 1. Hospital - $15,000.00 2. Doctors - $7,000.000 3. Anethesiologist - $1,000.00 The total was $23,000.00 cash. I am told this was discounted because I was self-pay. If the insurance had paid, the bill would have been $30,000.00. Good Luck on you WLS journey.
