In search of a Nutritionist

Does anyone know of a nutritionist address and phone number in the Daytona Beach to Orlando, FL area? Need to see one for the pre-op Nutrition Evaluation.    — MeliG (posted on January 2, 2008)

Hi, I just did my telephone consult yesterday with the one in Ocala that Dr Jawad had on his list. She was very helpful and said I would see her at Pre-op visit and at the hospital. We went over all the diet stuff but they mail it to you also. She emailed several forms to fill out and fax back, then it was all done by phone. She said she was available later on also if you need additional help. Hope this helps. Toni

I used Dr. Mamema at US Baratrics in St. Augustine. They have a great Nutritionest on staff both in Orlando and St. Augustine Phone 904-819-5861. Most hospitals however, have a Nutritionest on staff. Try Floirda Hospital Ormond or Hallafax Hospital in your back yard.
