Question:
anyone know of any dr's that take il state aid???

i have my approval, and my il medical will pay for the surgury, but i can not find a dr who will take it (and doesnt have a 5 year waiting list) any one know anyone????? thanks rita =)    — rletterly (posted on April 15, 2009)

Hi Rita, CONGRATS!! on the approval! Here in Florida I had to find a "Hospital of Excellance" which ment they had done a certain amount of successful surgerys. My ins. company was able to give me the list of DR's that I could use and I then check them out and made my decission as to whom I wanted to use. Start close to home or closest hospital and find out who does the surg you were approved for. I found my state ins to be very helpful when I was looking. Best of luck to you!

Hi Rita, i just started out on this process and i also have the IL. medical card. I am going through Dr. Oliphant at Carle Hospital in Urbana, IL.

i am in atl but i heard dr. vivek prachand at u of c takes medicaid...he did my gallbladder removal back in 05 befeore i moved here and he is real good.... search him on this site
