Question:
Dr Stoner in Davenport, Iowa has anyone had surgery with him?

How long does it take to get in for a consult, what tests does he require before surgery, and after the consult how long was it to get in for the surgery?    — [Anonymous] (posted on March 6, 2002)

I am not one of his patients, but I know how you can talk to many of his patients to find out that info through this website. Click on "Find a Doc" located at the top of this webpage. Then click on "Browse the List" and it will bring you to a picture of the US. Scroll below the picture and put in the letter S for Stoner. Then, scroll down the list of doctors until you see his name (He is on the list). Once you find him, click on "view" which is located to the far right of his name and it will bring you to his webpage where many patients of his have commented on him. If you have any problems finding it, let me know : )

Hi, I had surgery by Dr. Stoner on March 19th, 2001. I have lost 189lbs. That man has saved my life. He is wonderful. I called him in January, had first appointment Feb.7th then surgery in March. His schedule could be busier now that wls is becoming more known. I had to be seen by a cardiologist (Sp) and pulmunologist (Sp) Then a physc. evaluation. Then he did an endoscopy because I had stomach stapling surgery 20 years before and then he checked the colon. If you have any questions e-mail me any time. I would be glad to help.
