Question:
Can anyone recommend a place to buy all vitamins in one place

I just had surgery on 4-6-09 and am very confused about where to buy vitamins. Can someone recommend a place to buy all vitamins in place instead of going to several sites or stores.    — puddin49 (posted on April 8, 2009)

I've gone to Max Muscle. It's a store, but I'm not sure if it's just here in Denver or if it's nation-wide. I take a great liquid vitamin that has a 93% absorbtion rate, and I can get my calcium from them as well, when it's time to start it (in another week). There is also the Vitamin Shoppe, which I actually frequent quite a lot more, because it carries all the IsoPure RTD flavors and the Oh Yeah shakes and the Lean Dessert Protein Powders, in addition to the Syntrax Nectar protein powders. I can buy most of what I want there, and not have to get them online and pay shipping and handling charges.

Vitamin Shoppe is great if you have one near you...But you can shop online as well. I get most of my vitamins thru Vitalady.com. She's a 15 year Distal RNY Post Op and I can ask her or her hubby (Also many years PO) about vitamin/lab questions thru email. She carries EVERYTHING I need and her prices are fair. She even has her own line that I LOVE! But I still like to look and try new things...After 5 years you get sick of the same flavors and stuff so I like to change it up now and then and try different stuff... Different places for different tastes...so I don't mind going all over the place! EX. I love Trader Joe's chewable high potency adult vitamins as well as their B-12 sublingual...I will go out of my way 1 hour drive to go get it...I like Wegmans Grocery store for for their store brand vits and LOVE their Lemon flavored Zinc Lozenges and they carry Twinlabs as well as a large selection of top brands that you might find at a vitamin shop....I love Vitalday for her Chewable Tender Iron, and GIANT bottle of magnesium citrate... and dry forms of all the fat soluble vitamins for RNYers...Plus I can order Bariatric Advantage multi vits/cal cit thru her as well! I got so sick of the same very potent strong flavors of vitamins everyday...5 years! UGH! I can find it all in one store, but I have to switch it up now and then to save my taste buds and still find a good deal as well. I'm all for good savings!

My doctor wants us to use Optisource so I just get all of my vitamins and supplements from Walgreens. They are the only place around where I live that sells that brand. They don't taste too bad either!

I recently bought my vitamins online at Swanson Vitamins. The shipping charges are only $4.99 and then they send you a $5.00 coupon for your next order. The prices were also very reasonable.

I just ordered Bariatric Advantage vitamins, B12, Calcium, Iron, and protein "bullets" all from Bariatric Choice.com. They have lots of different brands to choose from. They have lots of selection (desserts and snacks, too.) They will send a free sample pack with orders over $50. And FREE SHIPPING !
