Question:
ANYONE HAVE BLUE CROSS/BLUE SHIELD ACCESS TN?

I HAVE BCBS ACCESS TN THEY TURNED ME DOWN TWICE ALREADY VERY QUICKLY LIKE WITHIN 3-4 DAYS NOW THAT IVE COMPLETED EVERYTHING THEY REQUIRED ITS BEEN NEARLY TWO WEEKS AND I HAVENT HEARD ANYTHING YET, WHATS UP?    — mishies33 (posted on November 7, 2009)

I have BCBS of Illinois. I was denied twice & had to appeal. If your case was sent to a review board it usually takes about 30 days for that process to be completed. At least mine did. You can call customer service to find out what your status is. I will tell you if it is in review you will likely only be told that and nothing else. That's not a bad thing, just frustrating because we are impatient. I got a phone # to the review dept in my case but could never get a live body, only a recording & messages were never returned until AFTER I had received a letter saying I'd been approved. Most likely you will hear from them within 2 wks if it's been 2 wks since you sent it in. Hang in there.
