You know you need to eat to heal. You need to maintain your protein intake. Maybe the aches are becasue you eate something that did not agree with you. Drink your protein, and take your vitaminis.

I was very achy the first year. Not all days, but some days, I thought that I'd never feel a peaceful feeling in my pouch after eating. Nothing about the surgery felt even slightly normal. It wasn't awful, but it wasn't great and I didn't get the same pleasure eating as I did before surgery...Eventually though, it passes. I feel very normal again. I can eat almost anything in moderation, but I had a really hard time geting in all my protein because whey powder or drinks and milk were/are still very hard on my pouch...and there was no way I could eat enough meat in a day for over two years. I could only handle No Carb Isopure bottled Whey . Some days are better than others...but protein does help you heal...I feel great now with little problems at all. Some things still bother my pouch but I found that when I eat right and follow the rules I am fine. Drinking clear water also helps wash out your pouch. Good luck...It does get better...
