Question:
I live is Saginaw, Michigan, has anyone else in Mi had Medicare approve this surgery?

Hi, I don't live in MI, I live in Texas, but since Medicare is federal, it should be the same in all states. I have Medicare, and I was aproved in less than one hour after the information was sent for aproval. all they require is that you be 100lbs. overweight, and a letter stating that atempts have been made at weight loss in the past. Yes Dorthy medicare will pay for your surgery but you must have co-morbidities. I am awaiting approval now but was told by my Dr medicare will pay for it. you will have some out of pocket costs but they aren't as scary as you may think. good luck dont give up an keep after them.
