Question:
ANY ALBANY, NY AREA MEMBERS WILLING TO BE MY FRIEND?
I will cross over to the "losing" side as of 11/06/08. I am seeking people to hang out with and become friends. I am embarrassed to say that I am lonely and do not want to do this all alone. I am not in your area either. But I know how it is to be a private person.
I did not tell my friends/family about my decision to do this. I relied
on the posts and contact with one nice lady who I met on this site to help
me get through this. I also agree with the previous poster. Your
surgeon's office should have information on a local support group. I am
here though if you need anything or if you have any questions!

same as the other, not in you area but I do understand, my family is in
Illinois and daugher of 39 is in Atlanta and I'm in Katrina ville, lol.
Gautier MS. The oh group is great but they sparks.com also., they have
special groups you can join, like if you enjoy quilting, running, sewing,
wii board, you can find a group about any thing you are interested in, I
run the scrapbooking board, so just look around I'm sure you can find
something or someone you can connect with. or come back and we will be your

I am not oin your area...wish I lived in NY...but I would love to be your
friend and support you on your journey...We have all been there..it is hard

Hello there. I'm not in your area either but I wanted to mention that there
are several other forums you may want to post your request to. There are
forums (forii??) for NY, for type of surgery you're having, age, interests,
etc.
