I have often felt hunger pains. I am now 3 years out and I remember being
surprised as well because I was told that I wouldn't have hunger pains
anymore. I have since found out that this is not true and their is nothing
wrong with that. It happens to many people. In my opinion it is normal.
I think as long as I know when I am full, it is good to know when I am
hungry, too.

We were told to eat appx every 2 hours (1-2 oz food), so I don't think I've
ever gone that long without food or protein drink.

I've had this problem for years and never figured it out till recently. My
problem was ulcers and gastritis, which I knew about but never connected
the dots. Good Luck I hope you get answers soon. Nut

I have found that the only time I truly get hunger pangs is when I have
drank a liquid with caffiene...it stimulates your appetite....I knew this
before surgery..but it seems amplifited post op.
