Could you have an umbilical hernia by chance? I don't know, just a suggestion.

If you still have your ovaries, you could be dealing with cysts. You really should check with your doctor, I went through this last year....there are many ways you can be helped once you see a doctor for a diagnosis. Good Luck!

Your best bet is to get to your Surgeon or at least your Primary for tests to see what's going on inside you.

Im having similar symptoms and Im 4 years postop from my RNY and 3 years postop tummy tuck. You need to get into the Dr, it may not even be related to the RNY. I have a problem with uterine fibroids, when I went in for my annual exam on the 20th I found out my uterus was the size of an 8-10 wk pregnancy. Ill find out a little more tomorrow when I go in for an ultrasound. Anyway, get into the Dr and get it checked out.

Please get this checked out by your primary care doctor or surgeon. I have not had WLS but due to an intestinal disorder become very bloated after eating.... here are some tips that have been passed on to me to deal with this uncomfortable problem: Preventative--these things help prevent gas and will most likely not be helpful once you are experiencing symptoms: 1) Probiotics -- acidopholus, yogurt, kefir, anything--taken daily 2) Simethicone -- this is the active ingredient in GasX, I use the infant kind, but take 1/2 the adult dosage right before eating and the other half 1/2 immediately after eating -- simethicone does nothing for intestinal gas, it works by making air bubbles in the stomach stick together so that hopefully they can be burped up rather than entering the intestines--MUST be taken before or immediately after eating--Preventative 3) Lactaid or Beano to give your body extra enzymes for digestion 4) Avoid or limit milk/dairy 4) Avoid or limit cruciferous vegetables 5) Avoid or limit legumes 6) Keep a food/symptom diary -- write down everything that you eat or drink for a week and how you feel afterwards, see if you can identify any foods or food combinations that increase symptoms As far a treatment for acute symptoms, I find that heat and mild pressure are very soothing. You might want to try some of the remedies for infants/children. Homeopathic medications may be helpful. I hope some of this is helpful. Feel free to email me if you want more suggestions. Best wishes.
