Question:
Does anyone work for Paychex who had wls?

I am trying to find out if my companys health policy has an exclusion for wls. No one seems to know. It is a national company that uses Aetna pos ll.    — longislandamy (posted on December 11, 2006)

have you called member services? have you talked to human resources at your place of employment?

You need to talk to member services. The number is on your card. It isn't just that you have Aetna POS 2 that says it... it depends on if your company excluded it. Also check out Aetna's website and go through there clinical bullitiens. It will tell you the requirements that must be followed to have it approved, if it is covered.

Call your insurance company and get a coverage book. You should be getting one each time your company makes major changes to the insurance plans. Generally speaking, your human resource manager can contact them and get you a copy of the book. Besides, you will need it for the inevitable appeal process most people go through. Good luck to you.
