Has anyone with Healthlink ppo ever been approved for lapband surgery?

Beth.. don't know the answer to that exact question... keep in mind that there are variances within the same insurance company and it depends upon what program that your employer has paid for. Having said this, there is a very good book that I use for reference all of the time that has a couple of chapters that are devoted to getting approved for the surgery with sample support / application letters and sample appeal letters should you be denied. There have been people who have been denied, who upon appeal, have the surgery paid for..."The Doctor's Guide to Weight Loss Surgery" by Louis Flancbaum. Good luck to you....
